Mental Health and Wellbeing
Children's mental health and wellbeing is really important to us. We are continuing to develop and build our curriculum around teaching and supporting children's mental health and wellbeing.
This year we are encouraging you and your children to take part in our healthy living challenge: ‘Collect Six!’
Each half term we have set a task for children to complete for six weeks and keep track of their progress.
When the children have completed the challenge they will receive a badge that they can proudly display on their uniform. We hope that by the end of the year they will be able to collect all six badges.
The challenges this year are:
| Autumn 1 | Do 15 minutes of cardio every day |
| Autumn 2 | Drink 6-8 cups of water a day |
| Spring 1 | Eat your 5 a day |
| Spring 2 | Sleep for 9-12 hours a night |
| Summer 1 | Random acts of kindness |
| Summer 2 | Eat a balanced meal |
